An Autumn Journey Through Proverbs 

October/November 2024 

 

 

There are many "proverbs" about wisdom in our culture. For example. I have heard "Youth is wasted on the young and wisdom on the old". Or if you will "Old age and treachery will always beat out youth and skill". Not sure if either of these is particularly wise?  

 

Throughout the ages people have sought the key that opens the door to the treasure of true wisdom - is there a place where anyone can find valuable  wisdom - that is, knowing how to apply knowledge in ways that bring us to a better place.  The Bible is such a book that although it was written down by men it was inspired by God Himself. God is the source of truth and is an ocean of wisdom available to all who hunger for it!            

                         

     

               

People can collect and add letters after their names such as BA. MBA or PhD in their quest for knowlwdge but only the Bible and the Book of Proverbs specifically provides us with wisdom that stands the test of time.              

 

 

 

As the Fall of 2024 opens we will open this majestic book of known as Proverbs to discover godly wisdom found no where else in the writings of people.
